Grief changes us and is such an individual experience. No two people grieve the same. What we all have in common, though, is the need to understand how to move forward in a new way after loss.
Sometimes that loss comes through the death of someone we love. Sometimes through a loss no one can see, such as losing relationships, community, identity, health, even property. Sometimes we may not realize we are grieving until we no longer recognize ourselves or our lives.
This is a weekly publication for Muslim women living through those changes.
Each issue offers thoughtful reflections on grief and loss, reminders from the Qur'an and Sunnah, questions for reflection and journaling, featured articles, insightful stories, and more.
It is a way for us to connect on an Islamic and personal level about the universal experience of grief and to share resources you can return to when the days feel heavy bi'ithnillah.
The Sabr Pages is a supportive guide on your journey. Come in when you need a place to pause, reflect, be understood, and be guided toward the healing of your heart bi'ithnillah.
